What MultiChat does
- One box for every chat
- Type your message once and it goes to Twitch, Kick and YouTube together. Switch off any platform you don't want to use for a message.
- It follows the stream
- See which platform the streamer is live on right now. With Live only on, MultiChat skips the chats where they're offline, and it keeps checking while you chat.
- Your accounts, your choice
- Log in extra accounts of your own and pick which one sends each message. Sending from all of them at once only works in a channel one of your accounts owns.
- A marketplace of creators
- Browse popular streamers with their Twitch pictures, add one in a click, or list someone yourself. Search by name or filter by platform.
- Log in with your browser
- Click a platform, approve in your browser, and you're done. MultiChat keeps your login fresh, so there are no tokens to copy and paste.
- Everything stays on your PC
- Your logins and settings are saved in a data folder next to the app. MultiChat has no server and sends nothing to us. It talks straight to Twitch, Kick and YouTube.
Set up in four steps
-
Download and unzip
Put MultiChat.exe in its own folder, for example Documents\MultiChat. The first time it runs, it creates a data folder next to itself.
-
Open it
Windows may say it protected your PC, because the app is new and not yet widely downloaded. Click More info, then Run anyway.
-
Connect your platforms
Open Accounts. Each platform needs a free developer app, once, and the Accounts window shows you what to fill in. Then click Twitch, Kick or YouTube to log in through your browser.
-
Pick a creator and type
Choose someone from the Marketplace or add a channel yourself, then type in the box at the bottom and press Enter.
Questions
Why does Windows show a warning?
Windows warns about apps it hasn't seen many times before, and MultiChat is new. Choose More info, then Run anyway. Some antivirus programs also flag brand-new apps by mistake. If yours does, you can check the file at virustotal.com before you run it.
What does MultiChat store, and is it safe?
Your logins and settings are saved in data\config.json on your PC. Treat that folder like a password and don't share it. MultiChat has no server of its own. You can take its access away at any time from each platform's connected-apps settings, for example Settings, then Connections on Twitch.
Why do I have to create a developer app on each platform?
Twitch, Kick and YouTube only let apps send chat messages on your behalf when the app is registered with them. Creating your own free app means the login goes from you directly to the platform, and nobody sits in the middle.
Can it post from many accounts into any chat?
No, and that's on purpose. You can switch between your own accounts and send one message at a time from the one you pick. Sending from all your accounts at once only works in a channel that one of your logged-in accounts owns. Posting the same message from many accounts into someone else's chat counts as spam on every platform, and it gets accounts banned.
Does it work with TikTok or X?
TikTok has no official way to post to LIVE chat, so MultiChat can copy your message for you to paste there yourself. X isn't included.
YouTube says the streamer isn't live
YouTube chat only works while a stream is running. MultiChat checks again every ten minutes while it's offline, or you can click Reconnect to check right away.
Is there a Mac or Linux version?
Not yet. MultiChat is Windows only for now.
